        2. Mark 2:23-28 (Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath)
        3. Nehemiah 13:15-22 (references Jeremiah 17:19-27) (Doing business on Sabbath)
        4. Luke 13:10-17 (mercy on the Sabbath)
      2. Group 2
        1. Leviticus 23:3 (Sabbath is a convocation–meet together)
        2. Isaiah 58:13, 14 (cf. the rest of the chapter) (Sabbath is a delight)
        3. Luke 14:3 (healing on the Sabbath)
    2. For each passage:
      1. What principle(s) for sabbath keeping do we find in this passage?
  4. Now:
    1. What principles for Sabbath observance have emerged from our study?
    2. Can we look through our list and categorize the items as:
